Average Tariff: INR 5000 per night per room. A log house as shown in picture will cost around INR 8000 per night and has a drawing/dining room, a bedroom - the best feature is the parvis with sloping ceilings - something that every child (or adult) will adore!
The log homes are quaint with a small bedroom which opens into a living room with a working fireplace and extends into the dining room. Tea/coffee makers enhance the comfort. However the romance is completed only by the staircase winding up into a second bedroom with sloping roofs. Small lawns and independent entrances add to the ambience. The apartments (less espensive than log house) are as comfortable - though the walls are not pinewood. Without the sloping attic area, but nevertheless a complete home with its bedroom, living and dining room and pantry area.

Best time:
Naldehra is a year round holiday destination. The summers are pleasantly cool with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 28°C - you can get by with cotton clothes, light woollens and an extra layer for the evenings. The winters are very cold and the temperatures drop to -4°C, with a high of 7°C. Heavy woollens and snow protection are needed in winter.

Air:Nearest airport is at Shimla (35 kms away) / Carriers - Air Deccan and Indian Airlines
Rail: Kalka Stn 110 kms away.
Road: Drive till Shimla (Delhi - Shimla: 357 kms N of Delhi) and ask for direction to Naldehra...hope you find the right person and direction.
